RoboNation's “Kits for Kids” program offers organizations and individuals the opportunity to contribute to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education outreach in their local communities by donating SeaPerch and SeaGlide underwater robotics kits to schools and programs in need.
By using SeaPerch and SeaGlide as the ‘vehicle’ to conduct STEM outreach, your company or organization gains direct access to schools and the potential workforce in your local community.
RoboNation has designed Kits for Kids Outreach packages to be customized based on your organization’s goals, resources and geographic requirements.
Top 5 reasons to donate now:
- STEM with a Purpose. Robotics is becoming part of disaster relief, wildlife conservation, and humanitarian aid. SeaPerch and SeaGlide are a kid’s first step toward a career in robotics.
- Robots are Rad. (Ask a teen what that means.) The “WOW” factor of any robot makes robotics a very easy sale to students of all ages.
- Sharing is Caring. Every kid deserves a chance to discover the greatness of robots but not all schools have the resources to make this happen. Donate a kit to students in need.
- STEM to Career. SeaPerch and SeaGlide are ideal entry points into robotics. Once they start, they don’t usually stop until they are part of the workforce!
- Build a ‘Bot. Change the World. We MUST inspire kids at the earliest ages and then provide increasing challenges to keep them engaged and motivated. The RoboNation programs fulfill this from Kindergarten to Workforce!
